If I'm counting accurately, this appears to be my 500th post on this blog. More than half of those are from the last year, as I've been posting everyday (with some missed days last fall). Thanks, Julie! Some of my favorite artists are Maurice Sendak, Peter Sis, Durer, Tiepolo, Klee, Giotto, and Etienne Delessert.
this is really a masterpiece, remind me of a minotaur a little bit
