This is my daughter's first piece of representational art. She's 21 months old, and after she finished the drawing, she pointed to it proudly and proclaimed, "Fish!"

I'm not sure how many fish are here, but they are lovely, and it is an occasion to celebrate!

A budding artist. Cute.
Darling. It's the path a fish takes...
This makes me smile. Was it on paper or the wall?
I definitely see a fish in there. She already does great line work!
Haha, it was in my sketchbook, actually.
Great theory, get zapped!
She's walking in her father's steps! :) I see a group of fishes in there! Did she listened to "Finding Nemo" recently? :)
I remember reading as a young mother that I should never ask my child "what is it?" when I was shown a creation. I was supposed to just ask, did you have fun drawing that? Why did you use those colors? etc. I don't know if it made a difference. I think it's neat Eliza wanted to tell you about her creation.
This is cool.
