IF: Tales and Legends

After Kronos devoured all of his other children, he was tricked into eating a rock instead of baby Zeus (who would one day overthrow him).

Wonderful picture, I love how you can inject a little humour in a pretty gruesome story. Amazing composition and I love that he's blue.

What a fantastic illo! (I have to admit my bias, as teaching seventh graders Greek myths was always one of my favorite units. They always had a hard time wrapping their heads around this myth, yet were gruesomely thrilled by it. :)
I really like how compact it is, but there's no scrimping on detail (tiny Zeus-what a pain in the rear!) or depth. Nice color contrast as well.
