Wordsworth's "The Prelude"
Not with the mean and vulgar works of man,
But with high objects, with enduring things--
With life and nature--purifying thus
The elements of feeling and of thought,
And sanctifying, by such discipline,
Both pain and fear, until we recognise
A grandeur in the beatings of the heart.
-from The Prelude, Book One, 408-414 (William Wordsworth)

The Shivers in the Fridge
Here are two animated shorts I helped my friend Paul Zelinsky create last summer for his hilarious book, The Shivers in the Fridge. It was a fun learning experience, and they turned out looking pretty cool.
They can also be found on Paul's website.

Illustration Friday: Twist
A twisted old witch with magic smoke twisting out of her pipe.
This is an illustration from Nathaniel Hawthorne's wonderful story, Feathertop.
