Steve, have you done murals? Your sense of color and composition would be magnificent at large scale, and would be enjoyable to live with.
Are you familiar with Lincoln Perry's mural at Cabell Hall at UVA? http://www.virginia.edu/mural/ http://www.lesyeuxdumonde.com/previous/2012/Perry/home.html
Thanks, Opal. I haven't done murals, but it is something I've been interested in. Do you know any muralists and how one gets started with that type of work?
Those are gorgeous examples you linked to. I used to live in Charlottesville, but I never saw those murals!
I don't know how one gets started with murals. Some are civic volunteer projects for outdoor neglected walls: that's a good way to get some visibility. Others are interior design projects. A high end interior designer might suggest a mural to a client. For instance, your cloudscapes remind me of fabulous Baroque ceilings. Once you get a few examples of your work, you could show them to some interior designers. Or just approach them at some kind of design meet-up and talk with them and show some portfolio examples.

Thanks--this whole series of cloudscapes is inspired by my love of Tiepolo's skies, so you are spot on. And those are good ideas.
